'Star(Wars)chitect'
Nada Maktari is a British-Yemeni RIBA Architectural Designer and Artist in London, UK. Nada is currently completing her Masters in Architecture (MArch) at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Nada graduated with a First Class Honours degree in BA Architecture from the University of Westminster in 2020. She has years of experience within the architectural field, including working with Farrells, Makespace, and Stephenson&. Nada also mentors undergraduate Architecture students at universities as well as attending as a regular guest critic.
As an Artist, Nada enjoys integrating architectural aspects and compositions from popular features in film, using them as a driving narrative within her work. She has released officially licensed prints for productions including 'Dune' with Bottleneck Gallery and 'Blade Runner 2049' for Vice Press News. She was also selected to join The Poster Posse's Protege Program of 2022 and exhibited her artwork with PosterSpy and AMP (Alternative Movie Posters).
Nada enjoys engaging within both the architecture and art fields on social media, remaining an active participant for other aspiring architects and artists.
